Infant Daycare

Your child will receive  plenty of individual attention throughout the day.

• We work with infants on their motor coordination and strength incorporating fun with Tummy-Time.
• Singing and reading to the babies is a daily activity.
• Our babies are offered a variety of experiences using their sensory skills to gain an understanding of their surroundings around them.
• Our teachers develop individual plans to fit each child’s developmental goals using the CREATIVE CURRICULUM program as a guide for planning various activities. As your child begins to achieve their developmental milestones, the teachers prepare your child for the next classroom.
• Learning to trust their caregivers is a primary goal.
• We have multiple baby strollers and on a nice day our infants are taken outside on a walk to enjoy the fresh air.

You can count on our teachers to provide a stimulating environment.

• Our infant program is designed for full-time enrollment Monday through Friday and hours from 6:30am -6pm daily.
• We use the Creative Curriculum to prepare our infant lessons.
• Our infant room has a no-shoe policy for teachers, parents and visitors to ensure the rug area remains clean.
• Each day all surfaces are sprayed with bleach to make sure the room is properly sanitized. Throughout the day the room and toys are cleaned and sanitized. Trash is frequently removed from the room to control odors. Cleanliness is a critical part of your infant daily childcare.
• The ratio of children to teachers is 4 to 1
• Expected time in Storks Landing is 6 weeks – 12 months, but may be longer if needed.
• Daily Reports and pictures are sent home daily through our TadPoles communication system.
• Diapers are changed every 2 hours or sooner if necessary. Your infants safety and  comfort is a our priority.
• When it’s time to sleep, our infants are placed on their backs in a very safe and comfortable crib. Our teacher’s are consistently checking on our sleeping children.

A Loving, Nurturing Childcare Staff

Having peace of mind while at work is very important to our us. There is a phone in every room and parents are encouraged to call the center and speak to one of your child’s caregivers for an update whenever you would like.

Our Storks Landing room teachers are very patient and easy going. These ladies love working with babies and it is really demonstrated in the care they deliver to their class.
